The target market being people that want to take on a healthy life we should position our PSS in environments that are closely related to the later. As this specific target audience knows that a healthy lifestyle starts with healthy choices they are aware that the PSS doesn’t immediately make them healthy but rather is an aid in starting to take on a healthier diet. With that they can choose from the given subscriptions that fit them the best and start using the PSS. This plan involves a lot of convincing, as such an unusual PSS also sparks a lot of doubt.
Brand Deals, Influencers, and Sponserships
In that regard we would for instance try to make our brand known to as many related brands, people and environments. These can be things such as supermarkets, dieticians, gyms, local stores, etc. We could also potentially use a lot of online influence, just like other health related brands do with paid ads, or sponsorships. We can use content creators that are interested in our product and aim directly at their audiences. This means we can introduce special deals, to help us build an initial user base, and continue adjusting advertisements and pricing along the way to establish brand loyalty.
Metrics for Efficeny
Some metrics that can be used are, of course, return of investment on the different advertisements, which subscriptions work best (most chosen, least likely to cancel), and what collaborations are most beneficial. As the marketing plan should be adjusted on an ongoing basis based on the findings from the metrics that show which efforts are having an impact and which are not, we can see what type of marketing initiative works better and rely more on that, or try to improve the other. In that regard we can also do the same in adjusting the subscription prices to find the optimal plans.

Collaboration
As The SmartScale is a dieting tool, collaboration with real dietitians is key. In that sense, to properly set up the application, it is crucial to work with a group of diet experts that will form the key pillars of the application. Later on, the system can maintain that collaboration by sharing dietary information to dietitians, which will allow them to monitor eating habits more easily. This will make the SmartScale another tool in the dietitians arsenal who will hopefully recommend the usage of the product.
Other collaborations are also possible later on, mainly with food distributors; grocery stores, restaurants, delivery services, etc.. This will allow the application to track eating habits even more accurately and with more ease.
These collaborations will also have a key role in the financial sustainability of the system as the loyalty of users will be strengthened and more people will be attracted towards the system.
